Just read an interview with James Sutton ahead of John-Paul's Return next week.

Spoilers below. Apologies for the swearing. )

James Sutton is returning to Hollyoaks.

John-Pul McQueen is returning to Hollyoaks.

No, no, no, no, no, no, sodding NO!

Okay, let me make one thing clear. I like James. I love John-Paul. But I was given to understand, along with a lot of other people, that he was leaving for good with the love of his life, one Craig Dean.

Guys, I.. I... I spent over a year of my life on these boys. I remember their first kiss (and I'm kind of freaked out that I'm at the stage of my life when I can say 'I remember' about things, but WHO CARES) way way waaaaaaaaaaaay back when, I remember their sunset ending, I remember Craig's final appearance. I was a late McDeaner and had a lot of catching up to do. I spent more time writing fanfiction about these guys than I did on my creative writing assignments in second year (yes, I KNOW) and I am actually prepared to swear that they are the main reason I just missed out on a 2:1 in my creative writing classes that year. I'm serious, guys. I was THAT in love with them. They got me through the exam times and through the start of second year and beyond.

I mean, seriously, come on. After a fairly forgettable stint in Emmerdale just to keep himself afloat, surely James can do better than return to a show that's just moved on? He's a cracking actor, I don't understand why thing have been so quiet for him. I'll admit, I'm a little bit excited about how he might be, but Craig had better come back for him! That's all I'm saying.

*head massage* First Johnlock get torn apart, then Klaine and now these guys - WILL EVERYBODY PLEASE JUST STOP BREAKING UP!!!

When I was in Chester back in July, I basically got an idea for a whole bunch of mini-crossovers with Harry Potter, to celebrate the last film coming out - essentially, all the characters of my favourite fandoms attending Hogwarts in their own individual universe. My friend Anna wanted to know exactly what I was giggling for when we were headed back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding.

In any case, I've got a fairly set one for Being Human, two different ones for Sherlock because my brain just HAS to do it with both John and Joan (doh...), yet another for Merlin and now my brain also just informed me that it wants a McDean one as well.

I tried saying no, it would hear nothing of it. First it wanted Craig in Hufflepuff, but now it wants him in Ravenclaw. Craig IS rather clever. As for John-Paul, I've no clue where the hell to put him. I can't quite see him in Gryffindor, but I'm actually kind of drawn towards Hufflepuff for him, Cedric Diggory-style. Sonny of course would be Slytherin.

And don't even get me started on The History Boys (even though I know exactly where to put Dakin and Scripps) and hell, even Thunderbirds. To save myself the anguish of that last one given a few obvious problems, let's just say the Tracys went to an American equivalent (because actually, now I think about it, save for a mention of American witches at the Quidditch World Cup, did JK even really mention any kind of US educational system?) and because I think about this way too much: Scott and Virgil went into Gryffindor, Gordon and Alan went into Hufflepuff, and John went into Ravenclaw.

... I should probably just stop there now. Except my brain wants a Doctor Who one as well.

... How the hell am I supposed to place a 900-year-old Time Lord at Hogwarts? How's that gonna WORK?

So I had a party-gathering type thing over at my house last night. It was my Uni-friends' first time over at mine and we had a great time. :D More about that when I'm a little more awake.

Since McDoonan Simon/Mickey came into my life, McDean has been shoved to the side. But just now I realised that even though I'm no longer crazy in love with them, I still love writing about them, which is good, because I've got a couple of AU ideas that I'm working on. So yay.

Basically, it's this:

VS this:

Only one option, right?...

No, boys, don't fight! You'd mess up your hair and it'd be immensely unfair considering that two of you are fourteen; well, in our time they're actually in their mid-twenties, but you know what I mean.
